Hi, then what about lunch? I was told by my doctor to take it in the morning with breakfast and in the evening with dinner. However, I eat a heavier lunch than breakfast and wonder if I should take the first one at lunch rather than breakfast. I take Metformin 1000mg HCL. Is this extended release or just regular? Thank you for your time and advice.
Hello, Peter! How are you?
Usually, it's taken just before a meal to help control blood sugar levels and, in most cases, that would be breakfast and dinner.
However, what has your doctor advised? Did they give you any specific instructions?
