Metformin - Geographic Tongue
(Newest replies first)
Updated
I have suffered greatly from oral pain that developed at the same time that I developed geographic tongue. Looking back this was chronologically related to the time that I started taking metformin. Have there been any reports of linkage of this condition to metformin use?

Any updates since then? I’m having this geographic tongue since I stopped metformin a few days ago.
Hello, Leeanddash! How are you?
No, I haven't been able to find any reports tying the two together.
Have you discovered what's causing your pain?
