What does HER stand for? ER is extended release. Pill bottle label reads Metformin HCL 1000 mg HER

but there was a recall on Metformin with "ER " extended-release
mine reads metformin 1000MG Tab HER
so is that extended-release
and if so wasn't it recalled with the 500 MG that was posted online?

That is just the abbreviation for the name of the manufacturer.
