Metazol And Doxycycline For Ulcer Pain

I had my gallbladder removed last year and I am still getting pains. The doctor said I have an ulcer that's swollen inside, so he gave me metazol and doxycycline. Are these medications going to help me? I even lost some weight.

These are antibiotic that can be used to treat various types of bacterial infections, including H. Pylori, which can cause some ulcers, and other stomach issues.

The NIH lists their typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, diarrhea, non-allergic skin rash, and headache.

How long will you be taking them? Are you on any other medications?
