Metaprolol And Erectile Dysfunction (Top voted first)

Hi , My boyfriend 33 is taking metaprolol, he is experiencing hard time with ED, we have narrowed it down to blaming the meds, What should we do, he had open heart murmurs and we are afraid to just stop it

Yes, it could be due to the Metoprolol, most of the blood pressure/cardiac medications can cause ER, along with nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach pain.

However, no he can't just stop it, cold turkey. Doing so could cause a rebound effect that may put his life in danger. He will need to see his doctor to replace it with a different medication.
