Metallic Taste While In Bigeminy Heart Rhythm

Last night I went into a bigeminy heart rhythm that was very symptomatic. This was frequently intermittent and as I would shift in and out of this rhythm I would become short of breath, pressure in my chest and could feel the PVC beats in my chest. These symptoms have occurred multiple times over the last couple of months. It lasted for several hours and was very intense but this time I had a very strong metallic taste in my mouth. Does anyone know of any correlation of these symptoms?

And no, that's not usually known to occur with bigeminy, from the NIH data on it.

Are you on any medications? If you were getting short of breath and developed a dry mouth, it might have been due to something you took.

Alternatively, it also sounds like you could've been experiencing a panic attack, along with the bigeminy and they are known to cause a metallic taste in the mouth, sometimes.

Have you consulted your doctor?
