Could you please explain some of the effects of this medicine, short and long term? NMy son was just prescribed this for impulsive hyperactivity. He is only 4. I have not wanted to put him on meds, but I have to know. He is getting worse and he even got kicked out of school. However, the info packet with the meds states not recommended for children under 7. I also want him to be able to go into any government service if he would like and from what I hear, you can not enlist if you are on ritalin or have ever been on it. Being that this is a remake so-to-speak, would he be able to enlist?
