Are there any side effects for this drug ?? I had angioplasty done two years ago. The doctor put me on Met XL R 25/2.5 and Prolomet AM 50 for my bp. I also take Ecosprin AV 75 regularly. I feel at times very tired without any workout and bit depressed. Feel weak in my legs when I walk. Lots of gas and palpitation on and off. I am wondering if it is due to these tabs. Kindly advise. Thanks.

All medications carry the risk of causing side effects. The NIH lists the typical ones for this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, increased urination, and hypotension.
It is possible that your symptoms are due to the medications, but you should consult your doctor to be sure.
Have you been diagnosed with any other medical conditions? Are you on any other medications?
