Meloxicam With Tylenol 3

I hurt my knee and I just started taking meloxicam. The doctor said to take extra strength Tylenol. I have some Tylenol 3 that I had for my jaw. Can I take it with meloxicam?

Tylenol 3 contains Codeine, alone with Acetaminophen, according the FDA lists. Thus it would be best not to take it, unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.

Is the Meloxicam helping? What type of knee injury did you experience?
