Meloxicam And Outpatient Surgery
UpdatedHow long will meloxicam remain in my system? I am having an outpatient surgery on Monday for my lower back, 20 min in and out! I took a meloxicam Friday!

Hello, Leigh! How are you?
It is actually recommended that you stop taking it 7 days, before surgery. It would be best to inform your doctor that you've taken it, as you may need to reschedule the procedure.
The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation.
Is there anything else I can help with?
