Can these two medications (meloxicam + methylprednisolone) be taken together?

These medications can increase the toxicity of each other and increase the risk of developing a GI ulceration, so they should only be taken together, if your doctor approves and has prescribed both.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of Meloxicam as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach irritation and increased risked of bleeding.

Methylprednisolone may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, nervousness, acne and insomnia.
