Melatonin Pill Circdian 2mg

I have not slept at all for over a week and have been prescribed circadin 2mg tablets.How long before these start to work and can they become addictive?

This is actually a supplement, Melatonin is a substance naturally present in the body and supplementing it can help restore someone's natural sleep cycle, thus, it is also not addictive.

The FDA lists its only common side effects as including drowsiness and dizziness.

Is there anything else I can help with?
