UpdatedI was on 5 30mg oxycodone a day and they weren't effective anymore being id been on them for a while. My doctor switched me to 15mg morphine ir 4xs a day if oxycodone is stronger why would this happen he said the morphine is stronger

And Oxycodone is stronger than Morphine by one and a half times, so you'd actually need 45mgs of Morphine to equal each 30mgs you were taking of the Oxycodone. You can look it up in an equivalency chart.
This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
