Please correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I've seen posted on the internet, Medrox-Rx appears to be available over the counter OR via prescription; the latter being that you'd essentially have to make an appointment with your doctor first in order to receive a script that you could then have filled at the pharmacy.
But if you're already passed this point and are just having trouble locating a pharmacy that carries it, I'd actually recommend talking with a local pharmacist directly about either placing an order for it from the manufacturer (to replenish their stock) or looking into different types of mail-order options they may offer as an alternative. It's not listed as a controlled substance of any sort, so I don't see why they wouldn't be able to work with you on different ways to obtain it.
