Medicines For Bp

I have been taking medicines for BP. The medicines is changed from one to another like Ramipril 5mg, Losarton Sodium 50mg, Telmisartan 40 mg, etc. I want to know is there any problem in changing the medicines or one should I stick with only one medicines. Please advise.

Yes, you should find one that works for you, without causing a lot of side effects that make you miserable and stick with it.

When you keep switching, your body doesn't have a chance to get used to any medication and for it to reach its full level of effectiveness. Additionally, stopping one abruptly to switch to another may cause a rebound effect, which means your blood pressure and heart rate can bounce back up, so you kind of negate any effect the medication may have had.

What medication has your doctor recommended that you take for it?
