There are more than one TWINCAL medicine in the market. Verwon has replied by reling on Twincal of Huaz (to that extent he is right) BUT TWINCAL is al so launched by zydus cadila in 2013 (most probably, now not available in the market, I have a feeling that they might have ceased it due to trademark dispute). The drug content of TWINCAL of cadila is - Cilnidipine, a novel calcium-channel blocker, which is prescribed for the medical management of hypertension in adults. Cilnidipine is a dihydropyridine class of calcium-channel blocker. Cilnidipine prevents intracellular calcium influx and results in vasodilatation. Cilnidipine possesses superior selectivity for vascular smooth muscle cells. Alternative drug content is CILACAR of J. B. Chemical or LNBloc of Eris (please confirm with your doctor before using it). I STRONGLY DENY THAT IT IS MERELY a nutritional supplement that contains a form of calcium. IT IS ACTUALLY TOTALLY OPPOSITE TO IT. THIS MEDICINE IS CALCIUM-CHANNEL BLOCKER
