Medication Used To Treat Recurrent Bv
UpdatedI am having recurrent bacterial vaginosis. What medications are available over the counter that I can take?

Hello, Sam! How are you doing? Sorry about the BV issues.
There are no oral antibiotics available over the counter. They all require a doctor's prescription.
If you've already tried one or more antibiotics and it is still recurring, it's likely that they weren't the right ones to eradicate your bacteria, or you are being repeatedly exposed to the same bacteria.
Have you consulted a gynecologist?
