Max Dosage Of Amoxicillin Per Day For 60 Lb. Child

Hi, what is the maximum dosage of Amoxicillin per day for a 60 lb. child for strep throat?

Prescribed: 400 mg / 5 ml. of Amoxicillan (10ml) 2 times/day for 10 days.

Child weight is 60 lbs. Is this too much?
