What is the max. dosage of Acetaminophen contained in Butalbital that is safe for a 70+ male in good condition take / day for migraines?

The current maximum daily amount of Acetaminophen according to FDA regulations is no more than 3,000mgs. Taking too much in any 24 hour period risks liver damage, liver failure and toxic overdose, which may be fatal.

What has your doctor prescribed? You shouldn't exceed the amount they instruct you to take.

The typical side effects of this medication may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach upset.
