Marovilina Ampicilina False Positive

Can it cause a dirty drug test result? I'm in outpatient treatment.

Ampicillin is a penicillin type antibiotic so it may result in a positive drug test for cocaine. What kind of tests are you taking? Urine? Blood? If you can, your best bet would be to show the prescription for the antibiotic so that they can factor it into your test results.

Yes Evy, per what Roy said in reply # 1 ampicilina (translated to ampicillin which is a penicilin drug), it "may" result in a false positive. Everything ok with you? what happened?

My friend went in for a urine and tested positive for cocaine and the probation officer almost had him held and did not believe he got a single packages from the corner store and neither did the judge and now he is required to go to meetings amongst other things which interferes with his life and made things harder for him.

Sorry to hear that - if only he could show a prescription for the antibiotic they may take that into consideration. But yeah, that's a bummer, best wishes to your friend.
