Are you referring to the medication Naltrexone? If so, then the answer is NO to both quesions!
This medication is used to treat Opiate dependency, by blocking the receptors in the body that react to the opiates.
Was it prescribed for these conditions?
Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness and induced withdrawal.
