Mallinckrodt Oxycodone Manufactuer

Been taking oxycodone 10-325 by another company called alvogen and I got these 10-325 with m523 on the back with this company's name (mallinckrodt). Are they the same as hydrocodone? It does not relieve pain very well.

Yes, they contain the same active ingredients, but there can be fluctuations from one generic to another. Under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, they are allowed to differ from the name brand by as much as plus, or minus 20%, and they don't have to measure against each other, just the name brand. Thus, it is possible that these ones are a little lower than the others, so they may not work as well as for you.

However, since the differences are slight, your body should adjust in a week, or so. If not, you should consult your doctor.

The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.
