Mallinckrodt Oxycodone 5 Mg - Totally Ineffective.

My pharmacy switched from Kvk-tech to Mallinckrodt and I don't not have any effect at all with the Mallinckrodt. I think its a fake pill actually and want to save mine just to get it evaluated for potency. I usually had to only take one maybe 2 a day when it was Kvk-tech but since they switched, I take 3-4 and don't even feel it.. There should be some way to audit these pills? Any help on how I can get it evaluated? I am going to try to get another brand but as you may know, you can't call a pharmacy any more to find what kind of prescriptions they have. So I have to go pharmacy to pharmacy to see if they have the 5 mg and that it is NOT Mallinckrodt and it took me several hours the other day with no avail. I was stuck getting the Mallinckrodt unless I wanted CVS to special order it and then they don't know what the manufacturer is until they get it in. This is a shame this is happening since when I or any patient complains they need a higher dosage, they may be seen by the doctor as having a problem. In other words, I would be fine with the 5 mg oxycodone from Kvk-tech but now the pharmacy has Mallinckrodt and I want to try the 10mg to see if it works.

I have found Mallinckrodt oxycodone to be much more effective than Qualitest.

I understand. I have the same problem. I was taking 10mg actavis MFR. Nothing else compares anything close to that. I have been taking Prednisone everyday instead. That's the last thing I want to take because I already have severe osteoporosis!

I agree nothing works for me but the Actavis brand, all others don’t do much if anything making us to appear to be addicts looking for a fix! Frustrating to say the least. I’ve had 4 back surgeries, 14 discs fused ,cervical/ thoracic (8) and lumbar (6). The pain is ridiculous as are the so called guidelines probably created by healthy people that don’t deal with unbearable pain. Big pharma created this problem, they cheat on amt of oxycodone they add, and load up on the fillers.

I think Mellenckroft is a placebo PLEASE HELP US PUT ACTIVIS BACK IN THE PHARMACIES LIKE WALGREENS, Rite Aid, CVS and all the mom and pop stores
