recently got sript filled for watson 10/650 for bad foot pain, an arthiritis pain, pills appeared to be brittle , they were a caplet with score in middle on back an watson 503 on front, after taking a days dosage was no feeling no releif an began feeling nervous, an having anxeity , took pills back, pharmacy replaced with vicodin es, was told there was a nationwide problem getting good approved ingreidents

hello mad as heck, where do you live and how long ago did this happen.
Ive also been having new and weird probs with my pain meds. got a bad batch of methadone 2 yrs ago when everyone was dying from it, still had old pills left, these didnt cause me ANY PROBS. then my doc switched me MS contin (morphine) worked great then got a batch that I could not take.
I now have a compounding pharm.
make ALL my meds for me in capsules, with NO binders, it works better, no side affects and 10 mgs, really is 10 mgs! more expensive, but worth it, drug co can have up to 25% more or LESS of the active ingriedient in it.

Actually, under current FDA regulations, the active ingredient in generic drugs can differ by as much as PLUS or MINUS 20%.

They consider this an acceptable therapeutic window, however, with some medications, it does create problems both with people getting too much or not enough of the active ingredient.

To the original poster, it sounds like you were starting to experience withdrawal symptoms, so the tablets you got were probably low in Hydrocodone, that active narcotic.

Even if you don't abuse something, your body does become dependent on it with regular use.

Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone, can be a generic for Lortab, Vicodin and Norco, as I said it is a narcotic, so common side effects may include:

nausea, dry mouth, constipation and dizziness.
