How to stop acne when taking macorate?
I am prescribed macroate cr 200 once in a day(during night) as the dosage. But within a month i got acne and it not controlling. The acne is recurring and i am unable to control it even after taking measures to avoid it. I am washing my face at regular intervals, avoiding oil foods and still the problem persists. do will compulsorily get acne infection when we take macorate? In fact, i am more disturbed with these skin rashes and infection which is disturbing me a lot. I never get pimples before taking macorate. Skin tan, skin discoloration, rashes and other allergic reactions are the other side effects. Please offer me a suitable guidance.

Parthan, which one has your doctor instructed you to use?

The difference between them is that the one with the CR is a time released medication, so it doesn't release all of the medication, at once.

When switching from one to the other, some people may require a dosage adjustment.

Macorate contains the active ingredient Magnesium Valproate, it is an anticonvulsant medications, used to prevent seizures.
