I believe you have 500 mg Acetaminophen which is generic for Tylenol. This is an over the counter med.

its a tylenol sized pill capsule shaped with imprint of m2a4 57344 it has no scoring in it and it has a coating what could it be it was perscribed for my son as hydrocodone but isn't shown in the listings of that

This is definitely not Hydrocodone, nor any type or narcotic pain medication. This tablet contains exactly what was stated in one of the previous posts, 500mgs of Acetaminophen, a generic or store brand of extra strength Tylenol.

If the pharmacy gave him this, rather than Hydrocodone for his prescription, then an error has been made and you need to speak to them.
