This site doesn't provide any type of prescription assistance, it is an information only website and, unfortunately, I am only familiar with programs for the U.S.

Learn more Lyrica details here.

As to your pain, how long have you been taking it?

Lyrica isn't an actual analgesic and it can take 4 to 6 weeks for it to reach its full effect in your body.

Hi

I took pregabalin for just over a year, and suddenly I got symptoms like, headaches, sweats, diarrhea, feeling anxious and depressed, and i took these symptoms for withdrawals, my body telling me I need more to feel well, so, I updosed, as I was not sure exactly how many mgs I took, and after the updose, I felt ok for about a week, then it all started again, mood lowering, sweaty, hot, anxious, rotten colon, headaches, so I thought to myself, I must need more, so i updosed again, and all was fine for about ten days and Iam being hit with these symptoms again. I am on 600mg and as I know these drugs are causing symptoms and from what I have read is that the longer you have been on the worse you will be. Things like psychosis, seizures, incontinent diarrhea(I had that in my sleep and it woke me up). I am scared witless, so I have been reading about neurontin as it is close to pregabalin i and has similar withdrawals. I am scared witless, in case I go from bad to worse with each cut. I am highly encouraged by the many people online who say that they got great help from magnesium. As these drugs are calcium channel blockers, magnesium is what is needed. I have bought a fwe types, oral mag chloride, and some skin oils. I bought a big bottle of epsom salts from a chemical shop. We need 300mg a day. I only looked yesterday about bioavailability of various magnesium preparations,, and I also read about how much magnesium you are really getting in capsules as they are usually packed with filler, and so, what you are actually getting in your 100mg supplement is 10mg, and then there is the bioavailabily factor as well, some mags are high and some low. So, with magnesium as my main weapon, both ingested and applied topically, I hope that I can stay functioning if I slow my taper, but I also hears on here that people get bad wds even if they did do a super slow one.
