This tablet contains 40mgs of Lisinopril, which is an ACE inhibitor that's most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions.

Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach pain.

When I received my prior prescription, it was Lisinopril with 3761 printed on one side which I understand is manufactured by a different manufacturer than the new one they gave me which is the Lupin 40. Are there different ingredients which make up the later one from the prior one? I have been having stomach issues since I started taking the new one. This is the only thing that has changed that I have been doing and didn't know if this might have something to do with my constant stomach ache (like someone hit me in the gut). I don't throw up, I just feel mighty uncomfortable. If I was of age of being prego, I'd think that was it, but I am 56 so that's not an issue (no female items to carry a pregnancy anyway)....but it mimics morning sickness without the throwing up.
