Hello, Najwhya! How are you?

This is a generic for Bactrim, which is an antibiotic that's used to treat various types of bacterial infections.

Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

But you should only take it, if your doctor or dentist has instructed you to do so. It may not be appropriate for your infection or you may not have an actual infection that requires an antibiotic. Additionally, seeing your dentist is still necessary, because the underlying problem that has caused the infection will still need to be fixed.

Are there any other questions or concerns?
