Should Losartan 50mg and Verapamil 240 mg be taken at the same time?

Hi Billie,

Based on my research, there are no drug interactions listed between either of those medications. So from what I can tell, you shouldn't have any problems taking the two together or even within the same time frame.

The only thing I would suggest being aware of is that you should avoid having any grapefruit while taking Verapamil or Losartan. I didn't know this before, but apparently grapefruit juice can increase the blood levels and effects of verapamil; increasing one's risk of certain side effects. And on the contrary, it can also decrease the effects of Losartan.
