Losartan And Magnesium Potassium Taken Together

I currently started taking Magnesium Potassium, Grape Seed Extract & Garlic 1000 mg to control my BP. My doctor prescribed me Losartan 25 mg. Can I take all the meds above together?

The only concern that I found listed by the FDA is that Losartan can also increase your potassium levels, so it shouldn't be taken with extra potassium, unless your doctor specifically okays it. Having too much potassium can be just as dangerous as not having enough.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of Losartan as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension.

3 weeks after starting Chlorthalidone 25mg, my husband had a 1st seizure, then 6 weeks later, entered hospital with AFIB & low potassium. Now taking cardizem, spirolactone 25mg & chlorthalidone 25 mg, I am so worried about another seizure and the muscle twitching in his sleep. These are all 1st time occurrences & tend to think that it may be the medications?

I've taking been taking Losarten for years , prescribed by my Cardiologist 50mg. My nephrologist took me off Losarten and prescribed LIsinopril 10mg twice a day. I immediately developed a constant dry cough. Even effected my singing voice. I told my nephrologist and he reluctantly took me off LIsinopril and back on Losarten 50mg twice a day. The cough has gone away.
