I am looking for a minnesota pain physician that will agree to listen to what works for my pain and doesn't make me feel like i am being judged and questioned about my pain. i need a dr willing to prescribe methadone at a low dose to control addictive issues and long term pain, and oxycodone 15 mg 6-8 a day together, without making me get off the methadone liquid that i am taking. i plan to go back to a good pain dr and hopefully explain that after certain amount of methadone is administered other pain meds wont work for my pain unless at higher than normal doses of oxycodone, with low dose methadone and added oxycodone quick release for my quick acting pain med. The regimen works, but no one listens to the fact that with the methadone, the addictive, irresponsible, euphoric feeling is gone but it treats long term pain and added to the other oxys it leaves room for the pain meds to work on short term without causing a problem, but dr's dont like both. Please help me i need a dr in mn that understands both. Thanks, Ang
