Lomedia 24 Questions

Hi guys!
I started take Lomedia 24 FE almost a year ago now. At first it was great, no periods at all and really seemed to work with little side effects. Now my life has become very hectic and my consistency with being on time taking it has altered. I have to be honest there are some days I forget and have to take it in the morning instead of my scheduled 10:30 pm time or maybe just forget all together. I know this is horrible. Although now I still get no periods so clearly it is still taking some effect on my body. I am so moody just crying and sad for no reason and so hungry ALL the time. I can't get my bloating to go away either. I'm extremely lethargic, to sleeping being the only thing I want to do. Is this all because not being regular about taking it? Shouldn't my periods start coming back.I really want to feel better because these side effects are getting a lot worse.

Hello, Jess! How are you? I'm sorry about the problems you're having.

Actually, it sounds like the Lomedia might not be the right pill for you and you may need to speak to your doctor about trying a different one. This happens, sometimes, if it doesn't have the right amount of hormones for the person taking it.

The FDA lists irritability, PMS-like symptoms, headaches and breakthrough bleeding as possible side effects, but the symptoms you're experiencing shouldn't be that severe.

Have you checked with your doctor, yet?
