Hello I have a question related to timing. I have been on the pill for 3 months because I was not getting a period. Doc. suggested it to get estrogen back into my system to stimulate my period, or just ensure that I would one day be able to get pregnant if I wanted too

My issue is. I tend not to take the pill at the same time everyday. I generally take it between 7pm and 11pm. Doing this has not resulted in any negative drawbacks physically,

Is taking the pill at a diff time ok? again I am not using the pill for protection against pregnancy, just taking it to get estrogen and the other compositions of the pill into my body.

Hello, Doni! How are you?

No, a window of a few hours is perfectly fine. They usually encourage you to take it at the same time every day to help you get in the habit of taking it, so women preventing pregnancy won't forget to take any. But even in such cases, there's a window of about 12 hours, before it would even be considered a late pill.

The FDA lists the side effects of oral contraceptives as possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, breakthrough bleeding, irritability and PMS-like symptoms.

Is there anything else I can help with?
