Today I started the second week of pills in my second pack, I started taking the pills the first day of my period. My doctor told me I would be protected right away since I started taking it the first day of my period. So I had intercourse 2 days after my period (about 1 week after starting the pills) & I'm so scared I could be pregnant. Is it normal to skip a period? I have been taking my pills everyday at the same time & never missed a pill. Someone please help me

Yes, it is possible to skip your period while taking these. Some women never have one while taking this hormonal contraceptive. However, the only way to be sure would be to get checked for pregnancy.
