Lo Loestrin Long Term Bleeding
UpdatedI was on a different birth control that made me vomit every morning before I started lo loestrin Fe, give been on lo loestrin Fe for almost a full cycle but I have been bleeding almost constantly for two weeks at least, it's light brown bleeding but it hurts and I have cramps and constantly wearing a pad is expensive and pwinful. What can I do to stop the so called spotting? Should I switch types of birth control pills again? I don't know what to do!!

Hello, Sally! How are you?
That can be normal for about the first 3 months, or so, while your body is getting used to the hormones in an oral contraceptive. As listed by the U.S. FDA, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.
Whether or not you talk to your doctor about switching to a different one is up to you, but irregular bleeding with cramping and etc. is normal.
Is there anything else I can help with?
