take the first pill on the first day of your period. the box the pill pack came in should have come with a list of drug facts and directions and such, and also with that should be stickers with the days of the week on them. so just peel off the one with Monday at the beginning (far left), and put that sticker over the days of the week at the top of the pack. That way you can keep track of what day of the pack you're on.
