I used LDN for Crohn's Disease and it was very effective in reducing abdominal pain. I used Neurontin, a synthetic analog of GABA, for nerve pain and it helped. You can buy GABA from a health food store. I hope this helps.
GABA and Neurontin are not the same as far as effects. Neurontin (Gabapentin) is a Schedule IV or V prescription drug. IMO, OTC GABA is crap.
Yes. It helps my pain, on a pain scale 1-10 the 5 mg daily decreased my pain level from an 8 to a 2.
