disabled due to chronic low back pain and other surgery need a Dr that will prescribe oxycodone 30 mg,have major pain in my back, neck,shoulders, knees, had part of my colon removed then ended up with defective mesh,live in chronic pain every day of my life, really need a Dr that can help me. (

Hello, Gary! How are you doing? I'm very sorry that you're in pain.

If you require such a medication on a long-term ongoing basis, due to the new directives that were set forth by the DEA last year, you'll need to see a pain management specialist. A general practitioner won't prescribe it for you.

The FDA lists this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Do you have a PCP that you see regular that might be able to refer you to someone? If so, that might be the quickest and easiest way to find the help you need.

Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area?

Does anyone know a Dr in Kentucky that will prescribe 15 or 30mg oxymoron? My family doctor has told me that he is recommending me to a pain management center. I have been on hydrocodone 10 for about 6 years and they no longer work. I have severe back pain daily. thanks for any help.
