Lisinopril Cough,weezing, Bloody Rash

1 year on Lisinopril: Coughing so bad I vomit. Weezing so loud I wake my self up. Rash so bad i bleed from itching. Leg cramps. Lips numb. Doctor wont listen. So I took my self off this medication. Rash is clearing up. Cough is better. Taking an aspirin a day and no salt, loosing weight to control BP till I find a new doc. Stay away from this Medication. Horrific year of horrific side effects!!!!

Hello, Doll! How are you? I'm sorry about what you've experienced.

Wow! That's horrible! I also had a very bad experience with Lisinopril and my doctor listed it among my allergies to make sure no one prescribes it for me, again.

Those can be side effects of it, as reported by the FDA, along with nausea, headache, increased urination and hypotension.

What type of doctor were you seeing? Have you considered trying a cardiologist? They usually have a better idea of how these medications can affect some people and are more willing to work with you to find something that doesn't make you miserable.
