Lisinopril And Lipitor

Are meds Atorvastatin Lipitor) and Lisinopril (Zestril) basically the same, prescribed for the same use?

No, they are not!

Lipitor is used to help lower cholesterol. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and joint/muscle aches.

Lisinopril is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension.
