PLEASE, I NEED TO KNOW IF LIQUID METHADONE COMES IN PINK OR IS IT WATERED DOWN because i have always got cherry red and never saw pink methadone until i got to this clinic and i take 150 mil. and with in 15 hours i need another dose. When i got cherry red i was able to take it every other day and i was fine. So can you PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON? THANK YOU.

P.S. I TAKE IT FOR PAIN

I am sorry to tell you that what you are saying is not true at all. I go to a methadone clinic and am prescribed methadone for pain and have been for almost 8years now. I am not an addict never have been have never touched heroin never have even seen it in person. I have taken painkillers prescribed from the dr. but never addicted to anything, so yes you can go to a methadone clinic for pain because I do and have been for quiet a few years and I get a month supply. So the answer to anyone wanting to know yes you can go to a methadone clinic for pain! I do!

its not against the law to be treated with methadone for pain management where i'm from, about one third are on it for pain management......

I go to a methadone clinic for pain management because my pain management doctor won't give me anything for pain and I was desperate for relief!! Is this what you are talking about? Lol

I don't know what state you're living in, but I think you're living in the state of denial!
If you've been going to the methadone clinic, you are an addict; come on! 8 YEARS! If you're in so much pain go to a pain clinic.
It is against the law to take methadone for pain at a clinic.

Usually when a dr. prescribes methadone for pain, you get the tablets or discs. I have been on it for pain for 7 years and do not go to a clinic to get it. I go to a pain management dr. Usuallly they give the liquid for a drug dependancy.

You failed your drug test because methadone has a longer half-life than other opiates, causing it to stay in your system longer than the average 72 hours.

Methadone is fat soluable so its stored in your fat and takes longer to work out of your.system give yourself at least a.week or two next time

iquid methadone comes in light pink. mine comes in light pink, and it tastes awful. however i visited family in michigan for a wedding and had to be guest dosed there, and they gave me methadone that was cherry red and had more of a flavor to it. i don't know if it was the red stuff that gave it the flavor, that's when i guess though. anyway, liquid methadone definitely comes in pink. it IS easy to water down, but you can tell the difference when looking at a normal dose or a watered down one. just know that the less liquid there is, the lighter pink it will look.

Addiction is when you abuse the drug and it causes problems in your life. Dont mistake dependent for addiction. People who take blood pressure meds would be in tough shape without it after two days also and thrre not running around abusing it. Would u say there addicted to there bp meds or dependent on it. Plz dont listen to anyone sitting behibd there keyboard writing mean uneducated opinions just to talk smack. And im wonderung how these low life ended up on a mdoan blog shoveling out non sense. Great use of your time bashing posts from people uve never met or walked a mile in thrre shoes while u sip wine every night

I am not ashamed, I am an opiate addict and have been for seven years. I recently started going to the methadone clinic so that I don't have to spend so much money and time on pain pills illegally. I am dosing at 50mg currently, and it's just white wafers that they dissolve in warm water.
I am going on a vacation and do not get take-homes yet, so I got some liquid from a friend I know.
I am concerned bc i have never taken the liquid and I was told :
A. That 1 ml = 10mg
B. Its a light pink color. Like watercolor paint. Not see thru but still light.
C. Doesn't have a real strong smell. I was told it was supposed to be a strong, pungent smell and it's not. It's not even as strong a smell as over the counter cough medicine such as Robitussin or something like that.
D. It doesn't have a strong taste. Matter if fact it taste kindly good, sweet. It is cherry flavor, but I feel like it should have more of a medicine taste, but I don't know.
E. Lastly, it's not thick or syrupy. It's more free flowing like water. It's not exactly the consistency of water, not that thin - but again, it isn't like Tussinex or hydro codeine cough syrup.
Did I get screwed? Or am I just being paranoid?

You are so right...when I started this whole thing people where like putting people down who go to clinics for addiction like taking methadone pills for pain makes them different somehow. If your taking 150 mg of methadone for pain for 10 years you are the same as the guy taking it for 10 years at the clinic. The way either person started kinda becomes irrelevant. Either person trying to stop will both withdrawal like a mother*****r so let's all be methadone friends.

Actually, it is against the law to take Methadone from a pain clinic FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONTROLLING AN ADDICTION. If the doctor is giving it for pain control, it is not illegal. This is a very grey line for some.

I've been on white Methadone for 19 years which is called biscuitsI come to another state and they start giving me the pink now I seem to be always sick I think it depends on what your body is used to and also your mind is tricks on you

at the clinic where i live the colors are very different, red being cherry flavored, orange which is tang, purple which is crystal lite, color is not dose related, i know a couple that both get methadone, 14 ml and 90 ml and there is no color difference at all.

The methadone @ my clinic is a dark pink and they always add water in front of me after it comes out of the machine and that turns it light pink...
