Lightheadness

I've been taking 5o mg Atenolol for many years no side effects, now also taking 50 mg Losartan daily. Upon waking in am feel fine, then during day feel lightheaded after rising from seated. Tried taking Losartan in am and Atenolol late afternoon.
still feeling lightheaded by early afternoon

Losartan is classified by the FDA as being an ARB that is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions and it is actually well known to cause orthostatic hypotension, which means that when you stand sit up or otherwise move suddenly, your blood pressure drops and you get dizziness, as well as other symptoms.

Other side effects to this medication may include nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach pain.

Have you consulted your doctor? You may need to try a different medication.
