This is my 3rd month on tri sprintec and I'm having a light period. I already contacted my doctor and the nurse said my body is getting use to the pill also I took two pregnancy test and they were negative. Now I am having severe back pain and can't hardly move. My mom things I hurt when I took my boyfriends Christmas down and carried the box upstairs a few days ago. She has had 5 kids and doesn't think I'm pregnant. Do you think the back pain is unrelated to the light period?

The back pain could be due to cramping caused by the hormones in the oral contraceptive, or it may be due to the exertion of taking down the tree, only your doctor can let you know for sure, but cramping while on OCs is a common side effect, as listed by the FDA, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, weight gain and PMS like symptoms.
It is unlikely that you're pregnant, if you haven't missed any tablets.
