its a blue pill with imprinted with 2985, want to know if this brings on a miscarrage

This capsule is manufactured by Teva Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 100mgs of Doxycycline.

The FDA classifies this medication as an antibiotic that is used to treat or prevent bacterial infections. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

They list it as being in pregnancy category D, which means that there is positive evidence of risk, if taken by a pregnant woman, but that doesn't necessarily mean it will cause a miscarriage, there could also be other complications.
