Valdoxan is reported to cause fewer side effects, according to FDA reports. It doesn't tend to cause the sensual side effects or withdrawal, plus it can encourage restful sleep in some people that take it.

Lexamil, however, can cause those types of side effects, along with dizziness, dry mouth and weight gain.
