Levothyroxine Tingling Numbness Jaw

I have a numbness / tingling of the jaw some really wierd feelings in the throat and neck. I have been on Levothyroxine for three months for an underactive thyroid Could this a side effect of the drug?

This is not a known side effect of the drug, however, I would stop using it for a day or two to see if that changes anything.
I would also consult with my dentist to see if anything unusual was going on with my teeth.

numbness / tingling of the jaw some really wierd feelings in the throat and neck.
these could be because of hypothyroidism, what dose of levothyroxine are you taking ,r u taking too less dose,get your thyroid profile done.
consult your gp

I had taken levothyroxine for a number of years with no apparent side effects. Then I began to experience tingling in my legs and subsequently throughout my body even in my tongue and face? I was tested for various conditions - even for MS. Nothing was apparent. Trying to trace back when the tingling first occurred, I realised it was when I went to an alternative chemist who prescribed a different brand. Returning to original chemist and brand I have found that tingling has almost ceased.
