Levothyroxine And Using Fitmiss Delight Protein Shake

Hello,
I am to start a low dose of Levothyroxine 0.025MG in the morning.
I usually have my protein shake in the morning.
I know I should not eat for 30 mins to an hour after drinking a glass of water with this medication.
I read somewhere that this medication should not be taken with weight loss products. Not sure if I can still drink the shake and if I just have to wait awhile and how long? I know it has been said not to take this medication with lots of vitamins.
Can anyone help me that might be a doctor or someone that has had the question before?

I have had similar questions, before and unless it is just plain water, you should still wait a half an hour, before taking in anything else, including your protein shake. Otherwise, there may be components in it that could affect the absorption of the Levothyroxine.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, hair loss and weight changes.

Thank you, Verwon, I've taken Levothyroxine since 1988 and no one has ever explained why I couldn't eat for the hour after taking it.

I have been taking this now over a week and had great results.
I did read that you shouldn't take vitimins/shakes etc for 4 hours.
But can eat after 1/2 hour to an hour after with water.
