Levothyroxine And Emotional Volatility

My husband has been on thyroxin since 2010. He hasn't had his dose altered recently but he is very volatile at the moment. This is not normal for him. I can't see a lot about this in side effects so I wonder could it be linked to thyroxin? He has also put on weight, had his cholesterol jump from 3 to 6, sweats dreadfully at night and doesn't sleep well. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Yes, it could be related to the medication, his TSH being out of control again, or it may be completely unrelated.

When was the last time his TSH was checked? Has he consulted his doctor?
