Taking lithium causes hypothyroidism. You have to take thyroid meds(levothyroid) the rest of your life…not sure about lithium? all things to discuss with your dr. find a Dr. who knows all about thyroid and your lithium

The only relevant warning I can find is that it SHOULD not be taken with Lithium, so that could be having an effect and you should consult your doctor.

I am taking levothyroid..in addition to lithium, wellbutrin and colzapam.

I noticed that since taking the levothyroid I am more depressed, does this drug have that effect, do my other drugs interfer...thanks
